Re: Bias FX 2 - quick look at cleanish sounds

Hah! I think we all know that feeling!

The Amplitube Fender is my go to, especially the twin, great cleans and can get really natural sounding overdrive.

Re: 2 Launchpads?

You'll probably have to go into the second Launchpads software and reassign cc#'s so you don't have any duplicate midi #'s. If they're the same # they'll duplicate the control. Not difficult but a bit tedious.

Re: Bias FX 2 - quick look at cleanish sounds

I demoed Bias stuff years ago, went with Amplitube because of the Fender but heard they've gotten much better. Would also like to hear thoughts on the two.

FWIW I've had several issues over the years that an update of the graphics driver's fixed.

Not free but I would highly recommend FabFilter ProC2. ProQ2 is also invaluable. They've both taught me a ton about eq and compression.

Re: Yamaha Drums & EZ Drummer Issue

Seems like a lot easier than changing cc#'s! Thanks for the tip!

Re: Yamaha Drums & EZ Drummer Issue

I think the hi hat and the floor tom are sharing a cc#. You should be able to go in to the Yamaha software and change the cc# of the floor tom to a number that's not being used. My guess is that the kit in EZD2 has more drums than the Yamaha so the cc#'s begin doubling up. But if no one else has sug...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Mouse wheel scroll control, when mouse arrow is placed above a slider, knob etc the mouse wheel will move the knob or fader. Most 3rd party vst/i use this and they work in MC too.

Re: EZDrummer - export separate tracks to individual channels

In the EZD2 'mixer' there's a tab under each track that you can check to do individual tracks, select multichannel on the first track and it'll generate separate tracks for each drum. They're pretty much in order but you can renumber them so they're sequential, then they'll be in sub tracks of MC. Y...

Re: monitoring volume.

The fader for that track would be the best option, turn down guitar to taste.

Re: Length of License

Mixcraft won't read your pro tools tracks unless they're one of the formats MC recognizes, like wav MP3, ogg etc.

Mixcraft also doesn't have rights to what you create. Your license means you own your copy and all that you create.

If it's removable and easy to remove, I would. If not, no worries. Easy process, just insert the new ram in the slot/s.

Make sure you mix down with the same sample rate and buffer size you recorded with, and try WAV.

Focusrite 2nd gen is a popular choice that works very well. I have an Audient id14, a bit more expensive but worth it to me.

Do you have 'stereo' selected in the arm recording button? Select Left channel.
