Re: MIXCRAFT 8 GLITCHES ON POWERFUL GAMING COMPUTER

In the 3rd pic of your post, Focusrite is listed but you're not in asio mode. Try this, close everything then plug in your Focusrite, then open MC and select asio and Focusrite. Also, I'd right click your speaker icon and make sure Focusrite is set to default and the sample and bit rates match what ...

Re: Jamstiks 4 Your Thoughts and Experience

As a hack guitarist/musician Ezdrummer 2 was truly eye opening for me, the ability to go from tapping a simple beat to full song in a few clicks makes my playing and tracking much more fun.

Re: LIST of WAVES Plugins that WORK in MX8

Waves has known issues with their Waves Central system of downloading, installing and having DAW find the plugins. A lot of people have issues all of the time. Have you tried calling their customer support? I've heard their really helpful.

Re: Help Choosing Plugins

Not free but the Fabfilter ProQ3 is incredible. It's taught me more about eq than any other source by far, because I can hear and see what I'm doing. The Pro C2 is on my very short list, if it can teach me as much about compression as the ProQ taught me about eq it'll warmly welcomed.

Re: Panning Help!

Not too familiar with Focusrite but there should be a setting that will allow you to toggle between stereo and mono, at least there should be. Sounds like the I/O is set to stereo instead of mono.

Re: Routing Addictive Drums 2

If SD is the same as EZD2 you go to the mixer and select multi channel, this will assign the child tracks to the Mixcraft track. The individual midi for that individual drum won't be there, it's in the main track, but you can change things in the child tracks, volume, pan, eq, compression etc. Hope ...

Re: EZX Expansions

Congrats, you'll love it. Remember in the mixer section to select multichannel and assign tracks for each drum. Probably not needed to be said but I keep the EZD main track as the last because of all the child tracks. If you're going to use pads, they make it pretty easy to midi learn. Love the song...

Re: EZX Expansions

I love EZD2! I'm just a crappy guitar player/singer and recording hobbyist so I do try to keep it as uncomplicated as possible. Sounds like you've kind of answered all of your own questions, you just need to pull the trigger. I bought EZD2 a few years ago when they offered 2 EXP with purchase, I too...

Re: some newbie questions.

Mark with great stuff as usual, whenever folks have issues they should just search his posts and replies! Mark mentioned eq several times for good reason, it's that important. I'm just a hobbyist and have been taking my time learning but I was guilty of trying to learn too much way to quick and it m...

Try mixing down to wav using the same sample and bit rates that you recorded with.

Korg drivers not compatible with Windows 1903

Updated to latest Windows update last night, figured I've waited a few weeks most of the bugs should be taken care of....... Nope. I own a Korg Nanokontrol2 and a Microkey 37 and both of them weren't recognized by MC or any other programs. Note on the Korg site says the drivers are incompatible and ...

Re: Plug in management and VSTs not appearing in MC

I use Amplitube and love it! The Fender Twin is worth the price of admission for me and is my go to right off the bat. Amplitube is it's own program and isn't just one dll file, it also has the installer to deal with, not as bad as most. As Mark said you should just install the Amplitube program and...
