Re: Workflow First Impressions

HY-FX CM and HY-Delay4 are both only recognising the right input (build 430), they both work properly in MX8. Both Thorn v1 & v2 vst3 will neither load or display properly. (if I click about a hundred times in the missing screen areas the full display appears, but the sound does not). see screen...

Re: Workflow First Impressions

Yeah, that one seems to load here too now, I may have got it confused with build 426, as it was before I fell asleep or it may be one of the other AAS plugins. I'll have to check it out. Anyway. I'm rescanning to try to get Dimitry Sches' Thorn v1.1 to load in 64 bit as it has only loaded for a good...

Re: Workflow First Impressions

Hi, It's something we do with every version: the new features are just sort of blended in with what's already there. We always try not to make new versions bewildering for existing users, and to preserve the workflow. Greg Yeah, but you have to be aware that the features exist. :) I did delve into ...

Re: Workflow First Impressions

Thanks for the video link Greg. I am really surprised to see how many substantial workflow changes there are (having watched the first half of the video). If only I had received that first I would have been convinced very quickly. The Tempo mapping feature is great looking and like lots of other fea...

Re: Workflow First Impressions

Hello, unfortunately, due to eye-iris adjustment problems meaning that I get blinded if I have to look at lighter writing on a black background I will not be able to use MX9, as there are no configuration options beyond making the play area switchable to a hideous off-white, which doesn't help me be...

Re: Copyright Registration - Can I Claim Single Author?

Well if you have to claim the DAW, you might also have to claim the guitar, Piano, Mic manufacturer, cord manufacturer, the assistant who brought coffee...… Seriously. No. No one ever had to credit the mixing board, tape machine...… But then copyright protection means little in this little bubble a...

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

Yes, I have added to this before but having used Voltage Modular since March it does demonstrate very clearly the advantages of having the ability to 'Quantise notes to Scales' and randomise quantisable midi voltages i.e. notes. I have always wanted Mixcraft to include more ways of controlling note ...

No, there's no plain-text list of track markers, just the track marker list inside the program.

Yes, editing 35 time signature changes took 2 hours, instead of 10 minutes. which is crap

Re: Screenshots of Mixcraft 9

Good stuff. If an editable project markers list text file could be created that would be great, unless there already is one. If so, please tell me where to find it, thanks

Re: New song..... DADGAD # 2

Excellent guitar playing and sound and lovely vocals as usual Alex.
Interesting use of the tuning i.e. for your elaborate style - I think most alternate tunings developed as a means of simplifying ways of playing chords, though it is often advanced players like yourself who use them most.
