Re: New song..... DADGAD # 2

Excellent guitar playing and sound and lovely vocals as usual Alex.
Interesting use of the tuning i.e. for your elaborate style - I think most alternate tunings developed as a means of simplifying ways of playing chords, though it is often advanced players like yourself who use them most.

Re: Rising Sky Shepard (Music for Nordlandsbanen #2) (21:33)

Its interesting that you mention "relaxation" Different people respond differently to things. I think its good to be aware of this when we create art or media of any kind. Personally, I find the audio you are creating interesting. Mostly because I am curious about the creation of original...

Re: Too many crashes

I agree with Yellowcake. I've been putting up multiple crashes on a daily basis across both Windows 8.1 and 10, using both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Mixcraft, firstly using Mixcraft 6, which took 5 minutes to load, then the much more reliable Mixcraft 7 and throughout using the highly unreliable...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Have you got the base software installed ? If so & if I recall correctly I've had that happen too. The thing to do is just load the software, watch the bottom left of the software for 'retrieving your stuff' to appear. If it finishes loading that go to the library tab and see what is installed a...

Re: Blue Screen trying to render video

I'm not sure about the error code, but Mixcraft has problems if you include video clips that are of a different type from the filetype that you try to render the video to. Check your source material's filetype then render to the same filetype

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Hello, I'm Mark.... And I am a plug-in addict. Me too, or three, in fact 2 or 3 bundles will do nicely :D there is a free version of the Cherry Audio modular synth floating about, but I cant for the life of me figure out how to get the product code. Attn. Dan, or whoever.... The process is ei...

Rising Sky Shepard (Music for Nordlandsbanen #2) (21:33)

Due to the vast enthusiasm for the first of these videos i.e. no response, I've decided to annoy you all with the second one, which is much longer  :D  The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) has recorded several videos of a Norwegian train journey lasting nearly 10 hours (one for ea...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Yes to to the suggestion of track input gain trim. If thats what you mean. Though there are many workarounds if needed, it would be nice if there was some native method. (Beyond the existing clip gain anyway... Which is pretty clunky IMO) FWIW- Blue Cats gain suite is handy. As are several offering...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

I just noticed when looking for gain staging plugins (so as not to have to do so much manual adjustment in iZotope RX), just to check which ones I already had, I got side-tracked into gain plugins, such as JST's Gain Reduction Deluxe. Some people, making videos on youtube, seem to think all DAWs hav...

Re: Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio Video Rendering

Hi, while Mixcraft can do basic editing, it may be necessary to use other video tools to get consistent results. I use Mixcraft, Avs Video Editor, VSDC (which is cheap but complicated & there is a free version but it doesn't work properly with sound - I got it to layer multiple videos before I d...
