Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Hi again, And while we’re at it I’d make the colorize work by say, pressing left arrow plus a number. So you could scroll up and down the list, audition the preset by pressing the right arrow that might say trigger a short arpeggio, and then press the left arrow and a number key to colorize it. That...

Not sure what you mean by your second suggestion

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Morning,

The ability to colorize VST names would be helpful. And presets in the instrument list for that matter!

Best,

Sugar Bytes Unique Synth VST

Evening!

Anyone have experience with this synth plugin? It's only $19.99 on Guitar Center right now.

Re: Possible bug?

Afternoon,

I’ve had this happen once on the current build too, going back and creating a new track from scratch helped it.

Re: vst PROBLEMS

Morning,

So if Mixcraft is crashing, are those plugins on the disabled list in your plugin manager? (Separate menu item under file)

Re: Help Choosing Plugins

Afternoon, Oops, sorry. I just use the Acoustica plugins on my portable rig, and the Pro Studio reverb. I avoid the G Sonique like the plague because they have built in hiss on purpose. Every once in a while I’ll use the Classic Reverb or Autofilter, but otherwise avoid them. I use the Tone Boosters...

Re: Help Choosing Plugins

Morning, Overloud’s GEM series plugins are more or less exact software copies of real hardware. They aren’t cheap but they do go on sale a few times a year and they are phenomenal. For now pick up Dead Duck’s free plugin bundle, same simple hardware-like ethos and a comprehensive collection of plugi...

Re: Izotope essentials bundle

Morning,

Appreciate the heads up! Does Ozone essentials have the multi band panning function or is it just like Ozone Imager?

Thanks!

Hi,

Does that work on a track-by-track basis or is there such thing as a multitrack MIDI file?

Re: BUG: "Use selection" checkbox of "Mix Down To" dialog is not remembered

Afternoon,

That would certainly be consistent with how other things operate, which is to say that they remain as you leave them. The last quantize setting holds over if you reopen that dialogue, for instance.

I think the point is consistency with anything like that.

Re: Future of the daw

Morning! Hopefully they will figure out these automated mastering algorithms they are working on and can incorporate them into the DAWs. I can't master to save my life, and will probably never have the time to learn it either. That said, I hate loud commercial music anyway so it's all good with my q...

Evening,

I’ll take the malevolent position and suggest the removal of that checkbox altogether and just have whatever is selected mix down, or the whole thing if nothing is selected lol.
