Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Import the first 4 into this thread too Mark. I think they are pretty important too :) Thanks Ian I don't think its really necessary, for at least two reasons: The folks that need to see the suggestions are seeing both threads, and also- all 5 recent examples are duplicates. They have been suggeste...

Re: !HELP! Plug-ins failing at mixdown...

I cant see anything in that image.
But it might help to know that one troublesome plug-in can crash some or all plug-ins in the chain after it.

Re: Frequency Analyzer?

SPAN will do that. And its free, and relatively simple.
Its the first plug-in I always recommend to Mixcraft users.
(Its an upgraded/updated version of the included Freq-analyzer in Mixcraft, which i disabled many versions ago.)
Let me know if you need any help using it. 8)

Re: "ERROR! There is a problem..."

"I see its been a long standing issue"?

Pls explain.
None i am aware of and speaking for myself, not a single incidence that seems even similar in some 7.5 years or so of using Mixcraft.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

#5
At minimum, in the arranger view, the capability to zoom in to sample level and manually discern the cross-point when editing audio.
Perhaps even better, completely re-work the sound tab view and tool-set for audio editing.

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

Ok after some thought, I am going to revise my previous post. In part upon consideration for things that are the most overdue IMO: I may change my mind. Have to think on this. But for now- 1: Expanded routing capabilities. (IE: the ability to route things like a send return to a submix, instead of m...

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

I find the GUI hard to keep lit. So i ditched the lighter for edibles. No, wait..... What was the subject again? 8) In all seriousness, it surprises me that with all the possibilities for large functional improvements and expansion..... Cosmetics over utility as a top three? I understand we all have...

Re: Audio Problems in Windows?

That's not Mixcraft, it's Windows and your audio driver. Yes there are challenges, though it can work. I often use that setup on a laptop for my mobile DAW rig. First, you need to learn how to disable audio enhancements in Windows. And IMO, if your going to use the Realtek soundcard, your gonna want...

Re: Using the Output Bus Track (saving device output)

Try setting it up as desired and "save as template" then close Mixcraft. Upon reloading Mixcraft, select your saved template from the start menu and see if everything works as desired. Though Mixcraft Isnt really idealized for live use IMO (honestly it's not my thing though, so....) This s...

Re: impulse response

Yeah, Lancaster is a top source for IR's, but not knowing more about what you are looking to do kind of impedes giving any advise. Reverb impulses are cool, but with a handful of quality verbs, going the impulse route just seems a bit "busy" for my needs. The use of cabinet impulses in the...

Re: impulse response

Ok. I'm not sure I understand the question, but I think it relies on the specific plug-in application that incorporates or utilizes the IR's, regardless of the DAW. I could be wrong, but I am not aware of any DAW that utilizes IR's in a native fashion. Perhaps one/some of the DAW's popular amongst t...

Re: Analog hardware/ summing

At minimum you would need an interface with enough ins and outs to suit the planned task. Most people would also incorporate a mixing console of some sort. It's a tempting proposition if you already have some quality hardware. But be mindful of some caveats. First, much so called "hardware"...
