Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

I'd give my broken guitar and 50p for a shortcut to change track heights between small, normal and large. :D If you link all your tracks and use the sizing handle they can all be dragged to whatever height you want at the same time Actually, you don't need to link them. Just select all by holding &...

Re: Live gig blunders

Wow bummer. :( BTW: It could have been much worse (trust me, lol), so don't lose sleep over it... We know a good horse by how fast it gets back up, not by how it fell. Thank you. I consoled myself with the same thought. It reminds me of an old Bible proverb. "The righteous one will fall...

Live gig blunders

Hi all, Just had to share my brief, but embarrassing story of a man, his guitar and a poorly calibrated tuner. I was all hyped and ready to play an outdoor gig. It was a cavalcade of artists, so my band only had two songs to worry about. We had practiced them a lot, were tight and ready to go. Being...

   Whoa! I'm glad I said something then. Thanks for the glimpse into to the inner sanctum, Greg.

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

2. Full integration of the mixer into the track view (i.e. all mixer controls integrated in the respective track). A separate mixer never made sense to me. I kind of have a related question. Yet different. Unless I'm just not seeing it, there's no way to tell which tracks are linked when mixer view...

Re: Too many crashes

Hi, Freezes (as opposed to crashes) can sometimes be caused by a plugin waiting for you to do something, so if you run into a freeze, make sure that there's no little pop-up dialog box that you need to click OK on or whatever. Also, some processing can just take a long time, so be sure to give the ...

Re: Too many crashes

I too have been in this crash camp since the beginning. I should clarify that I haven't experienced that many true "crashes" in the Mixcraft sense. What I've gotten, more often than not, are freeze-ups and "not responding" forced shutdowns. Optimizing my PC has helped, but I've ...

Re: Too many crashes

I too have been in this crash camp since the beginning. At times it made me wonder if there was a better DAW for me, but alas, there is not. I will say, however, that the excellent personal service derived here and directly from the good people at Acoustica has kept me here. That being said, I have ...

Re: Hello new here - need some help !

This thread reminds me of the great value there is in not only using Mixcraft, but in being a Mixcraft customer. While there may be "industry standards" or slicker, hipper DAWs. I don't believe one will get nearly the level of help that you do here with these other brands. (Correct me if I...

Especially for those times when I'm using a mic and I can hear my squeaky chair or when I burp between notes.

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

It would be nice to have a shortcut feature when selecting a quiet section on a clip that allows one to right click and choose "mute" . I realize I could use automation, but when you're doing a bunch of sections it would be much easier than setting all those points and dropping the volume...
