Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

I find the GUI hard to keep lit. So i ditched the lighter for edibles. No, wait..... What was the subject again? 8) In all seriousness, it surprises me that with all the possibilities for large functional improvements and expansion..... Cosmetics over utility as a top three? I understand we all hav...

2. Edible start and end points within the GUI

Edible? Wouldn't that be Fruity Loops? :)

3. Broader color palette and skins.

2. Option to edit waves within timeline or using external editor.

1. Option to see markers when sound editing window is un-docked, maximized and hence covering the timeline.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

a big omission in the midi fx category that there is no Arpeggiator. This would appear to be essential midi tool that I would like to see included in future upgrades. While I agree it would be a nice-to-have built in, there are numerous plugins, including free ones, which have arpeggiators, so pers...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

- The ability to edit the wave form directly like you can in protools. Not using automation to bring the level up I mean actually manipulating the audio waveform so it is bigger if it has been recorded to quiet. J Yes, I was thinking that too. It's sort of like websites that allow/cause you to clic...

Re: Metronome question

Thanks. Actually, I prefer a drum track to a click track. I guess what I'm thinking of is the ability to, in one step, start the metronome on a whim and just hum or strum over it. Just like a real metronome. It would be nice if it were an independent feature. But all the workarounds are simple enoug...

Re: Metronome question

Yes, that's what I've been doing.

Even a muted smidgen of a clip will do the trick. Just would be nice to be able to start fresh with the metronome so I can think it through or play over it to narrow down the tempo before I even get to figuring out the arrangement and such.

Thanks!

Metronome question

Howdy, I notice that when I want to hear the metronome on playback there's no sound unless there's something in the timeline. Is there a way to hear the metronome before I even lay anything down so I can hear the tempo for songwriting purposes? And if not, would Acoustica consider adding that as a f...

Re: Tried Pro Tools for the first time

Another thing I forgot to add is the fact PT First can't open .PTX files which are ProTools files making it useless for any serious music production IMO. -J I can see the wisdom of getting people into it with First, but after being spoiled by Mixcraft, I doubt I will make the move. Just wanted to m...

Re: Tried Pro Tools for the first time

Last time I had a look at PT First you apparently can't save or mix down locally to your computer, you can only save to the avid cloud service which is useless to me  . I use ProTools Ultimate/HD when i'm working at my friends place just down the road from me, it's a very streamlined DAW and g...

Don’t want it, don’t miss it.

But isn't it the same, only with a limit of 16 tracks? Or is there more held back?
