Re: Seperating midi drums into audio tracks

Another potential issue, if the separated midi tracks are in a submix, you need to move them out of the submix to get them to produce individual audio files. :D

Hooray! :D I'm not alone! (Don't do it all the time but have on occasion run into issue like Chibear's).

Re: Master Fader

So no one uses the master fader to reduce overall volume by say -3 to -6 DB before exporting to wav for final mastering ( to allow some headroom )? :D

Re: Adjust Playrate

I've run into this before, not with so many tracks though. I had to merge clips and make sure all tracks and clipss are tagged to follow the project tempo. Sometimes a clip didn't behave, not sure why. :D

Re: Delete dead space at the end of a track?

Good to know! Can't you as an alternative, highlight the clip and play the "selected" area? :D

Re: Delete dead space at the end of a track?

Tried that, didn't work. Nothing as far as I can tell happens using Mix to new track (obviously it doesn't matter if I use the shortcut or not). Appreciate the help, don't mean to make a huge thing of this at all, but geez, I should (IMO) be able to just select the part I don't want and hit DELETE ...

Re: Delete dead space at the end of a track?

Trim your clip to where you want it. Right click on the track and "select all clips". Then click on "Edit" in the menu line and select "mix to new clip". This should give you a new clip on the same track. :D

Re: Audio Skipping - not DAW related?

Since you had to reinstall Windows everything went back to default settings, power management, background apps, CPU toggle, etc.. You might want to dust off the old performance improvement articles and go through resetting stuff. Also, a disk defrag (unless it's an SSD) and registry clean out. Sorry...

Re: Delete dead space at the end of a track?

Some tracks will have a "tail" at the end due to some effects working such as reverb. You can highlight the track and tell it to play only the selection. :D

Re: BehringerUMC204HD

Try plugging into a different USB port. Also, check the device manager in Windows next time it acts up and see if that indicates anything is wrong. Since you are on Win 7 you could step back one iteration of driver and see if that helps. :D
