Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Here is a easy one, make the comments section on the Project tab larger with larger font size. There is definitely room. I tend to write a lot of notes and comments in case I do not get back to the project for a while. A little help for us old people who do not see so good. This might help ... it's...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Unfortunately all the links to it seem dead. The IPH plugins are still available here: https://code.google.com/archive/p/pizmidi/downloads To get the whole set, you need to grab both the pizmidi* and pizjuce* files for your operating system. In a slightly eye-friendlier format than that archive pag...

Re: Recording MIDI output from Kontakt instrument

This works exactly as you said, I'd never have figured this out on my own. Thanks again for taking the time to explain the steps.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

We as musicians need it to be fast and intuitive. Thats why I love Mixcraft. So I surely hope they listen to us musicians when we suggest functions to make Mixcraft more user friendly. As a compressor and hp filter i the mixer section. Basics. Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you set up a templat...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

1) Per track, have a single off/ on switch for all FX inserted; perhaps this could be built into the existing track "FX" button, as something like a small toggle-able "X" or "LED" in, say, the upper right hand corner of the button 2) A global FX off/ on switch; I know o...

Attracting Sonar users

As an advanced-ish amateur DAW user, and a Sonar Refugee now with about 30 hours of Mixcraft under my belt, I'm really enoying the transition; in fact many things are so much easier in Mixcraft, which on my setup it is far more robust / less "flakey" than Sonar. I'm seeing that there is no...

Re: (Solved) MC8 playing back the wrong midi notes (i.e. not those shown in the piano roll)

lingyai, it isn't a bug its just the way things work, you have to make sure all the highlighted boxes match, maybe there's a different way that I don't know of or a video Acoustica can point a finger to. The white bands represent the scale notes, you will see them change if you change key and hit e...

Re: MC8 playing back the wrong midi notes (i.e. not those shown in the piano roll)

There are 8 semitones difference in the error, it could be a corrupt track for reasons unknown or you could check there are no transpose instructions in the sound tab, also click "mix" and scroll down to "re-set all" and see if that works. You nailed it, Mick. For some reason, t...

You should know that the multitrack function isn't available in mixcraft.

Re: MC8:time cursor not always moving when project plays

Thanks ChiBear. I've noticed that it comes, goes, comes back again. It's sort of liveable-with if I keep the track view's time cursor visible when editing in the piano roll or in the audio view of the Sounds tab. I do worry though what will happen if I am using my multitrack Medolyne Studio 4, which...
