Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

After having worked on a film project or two, I've come to the realization that Mixcraft needs a kick in the pants when it comes to the marker system. The biggest issue I've noticed is that I cannot reliably use Mixcraft's markers to make cues for syncing tempos to a video clip if the perceived temp...

Re: Acoustica Streaming Site With Special Privileges For Mixcraft Users

Is it possible for Acoustica to create an advertising driven streaming site? So... Spotify? Pandora? Apple Music? Sou sorry, trying not to laugh Soundcloud? Acoustica seems to care about musicians and songwriters. Currently artists are getting paid a fraction of what they deserve. Many of the strea...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

uh........no. :) Kind of defeats the point of "solo." For that you can simply mute/unmute whatever tracks. Multi-solo is most definitely a thing my dude when mixing. I mean technically it'd become "soli" but still - soloing multiple tracks is definitely a thing done fairly often...

Re: Mixcraft cannot be chosen for default .mid files

There seems to be a recent issue where some file associations aren't remembered by Windows 10. I've seen some articles about it and if I remember correctly this was a bug that somehow found its way into Windows through a recent security patch. So this may not specifically be a Mixcraft thing.

That's pretty spot-on, yeah.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Probably already been mentioned in this thread, but multi-channel audio support would be great. By which I don't mean multi-out plugin support - Mixcraft 8 has routing options available for that - but I mean multi-channel output through the master channel (stereo, LCR, 4.0, 5.1 surround, 7.1 surroun...

Re: Is JBridge Better Than Mixcraft 8 Internal 32-Bit Plugin Handling?

...that being said, if you're someone who uses multiple DAWs, getting jBridge might be worth it, especially since some DAWs are moving away from 32-bit support altogether (looking at you, Ableton Live 10).

Re: Is JBridge Better Than Mixcraft 8 Internal 32-Bit Plugin Handling?

You're essentially swapping the internal MX8 32-bit wrapper for the JBridge wrapper. Between the two, the in-house wrapper generally has better support from Acoustica ;-)

Re: Allen Heath QU24

i see that i can add a "bus" track and adress it to the mixer channels, for example: add a bus track -> select chanel 1/2 -> left chanel (output 1) i do this will all the tracks (exactly 32) then in the mixer of Mixcraft i will have a bunch of tracks Then i hide them in the left of the mi...

Re: Allen Heath QU24

An ensemble I'm involved in at university recently acquired an Allen Heath QU-16 board, so I can actually be somewhat useful for once! While we've only used it with Ableton Live (all our audio computers are Apple so no Mixcraft), you should be able to use the QU-24 as an interface. Takes some work i...

Virtual MIDI Devices and Mixcraft

Hey all, I have a few issues with virtual MIDI routing that I feel need to be addressed, and this heavily focuses on the use of MIDI loopback tools such as loopMIDI (as well as rtpMIDI, which I'm using to send MIDI between adjacent computers via network, but loopMIDI is the engine responsible for ge...

Re: vst3 plugins does not get listet | Wish for the future: vst-plugins sortet after format/architecture

Most DAWs, including Mixcraft, won't use VST3 plugins that are located anywhere else. Not quite so in my experience, I have all my vsts in custom folders for vst32, vst64, vst3 etc. As long as you include the path to your folders in the plugins manager I can see no problem where you put them. The i...

Re: vst3 plugins does not get listet | Wish for the future: vst-plugins sortet after format/architecture

That's odd, Mixcraft 8 is loading all of my VST3 plugins. Did you give the VST3 files their own install folder or did you install them in the default directory?

Omni Sampler - Mute groups

Will Omni-sampler support mute groups (one sample triggering automatically mutes another sample/samples, e.g. hitting a sample of a closed hi-hat will mute the open hi-hat sample [if playing]) in a future build of Mixcraft (I'm guessing MX9+ if implemented)?
