Postby ZombiePennsylvania » Sun Aug 06, 2017 9:02 pm

Hey guys, I just finished an instrumental metal song, mostly inspired by film scores and Video game OST's. Hope you enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzonLdvbg1s

I just finished uploading a new one, would love if you check it out, too... Should be one of the newer post on previous page ;)

It´s a midtempo german Rock/ Oipunk song, about drinking and stuff... hope you are somewhat into that genre, it has guitars at least :D

Hi,

Did you use Mixcraft to record and mix this? Which version?

Hi Greg,

Yes,I record and mix using Mixcraft Pro Studio 7, haven't yet upgraded to 8. I mix everything myself then send it out for mastering, as I like to leave that to someone with more expertise than myself. I use quite a bit of Mixcrafts built in compressors and EQ effects, also Pianissimo. some third party vst's that I also used are, EZ Drummer 2, BiasFX, and Miroslav Philharmonik.

I've been using your mixing software since the early 2000's, I believe it was just called Acoustica back then. Thanks for a great product. Glad you guys enjoyed the song.
