Looks like nobody needs new speakers at the moment but I may give it a shot! 8)
How do you write something musical to a big black box in the sky?

I'm probably in too if I finish in time. My research so far is to whether the box is moving towards or away from the guy. So far opinion is split lol.

Or to make things more complicated ...from above!

I think towards but if the guy is a magician and just produced it from nowhere then its away!
I've got a couple of ideas but I don't think M'Lady would appreciate big speakers turning up at the door so I hope I my entry is rubbish (highly likely) and I don't win!

I'm going with towards: the next arrival of Kubrik's monolith
Go for 1st place. The speakers are red. She'll love them 8)

I'd love to have those.....

But this is not my thing. And while I could whip something up, I have observed in the past that MANY people enter these and many of them are very good. Far beyond my skills. Leaving me with slim chances.

Then there's the time, on which I am currently way overdrawn. 8)
Stay in tune, Mark

For these things, the attraction for me is not the competition or the speakers, but rather hearing the different ideas and approaches of the other entrants, maybe even some things to add to my repertoire. FWIW I rarely like the winners so have yet to even comprehend the qualities of 'the winners'. To complicate matters even further, the final judgement here is going to be made by a scoring engineer, so that introduces a whole new set of variables. Some sound design will probably help.....maybe

Thanks Mark! I enjoy this contest as you only need invest a couple of hours to produce an entry. Also forces one to be concise to fit in the 30" time frame. I listened to quite of the few other entries and I'm definitely not running with the pack  which up until now has not been a good thing. Could use some monitors, though.
