when i burn 200 photos to dvd then try to play on tv i get error playback feature may not be available please eject disc.on the trial version of pf it burned 36 photos on dvd and played on tv perfect.is there something that i am doing wrong.? thank you for any help. i have tried 4 or 5 disc an get the same error. however they play on my pc.
There's no difference in the way that Photos Forever burns photos in the trial version. So, the question is what is different? Here's one thing to check: were the 36 photos in folders? If you backed up large numbers of photos, they might be in folders. Can your TV navigate folders?
I don't see an option in the software to include folders or not, can you compare the two disks by putting them into your computers drive(s) and see if one has folder and the other doesn't?
Hi eric sorry about the delay in answering. I put the trial version 36 photos dvdr in my pc and it loaded into vlc media player and it played each photo in slide show with background music.then i put the 425 photos dvdr into my pc and it loaded into vlc media player and it played back the photos in slide show with no background music.I did not see anything about folders. my emerson dvd and mp3 player played back the trial version 36 photos perfect with background music but nothing on the 425 photo dvd. I have tried several other dvds and cdrs and i still get the same error p[lease remove the disc.it has got me frustrated. Thanks for any help.
What I mean is to put the disk in, close anything that automatically plays like your vlc, then use windows explorer to look at the contents of the disk. You can do that by going into "computer" then right click the dvd drive and choose explore. See if the two disks differ.
hi ric i did the things you told me to do both disc played in slide show the 36 photo trial disc played in slide show with music. the 400 disc played in slideshow without music. i hope this will help you solve this problem. thank you again for help. bipe2
Hi, no that is just a program running the disk, I want you to look at the contents of the disk by using windows explorer. Double click your "computer" icon, it's probably in your windows start menu. You should then see all your drives listed, like A, C, D, etc Click the one that is the disk drive and the contents will show on the right, like this.
