Hi,
After solving the problem of my recording issues I now have another problem.
The imported backing track using WAV is fine with no problems at all, but when I record track 2 using WAV RT I am experiencing sound break up on the recorded track only. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Maurice.

Hi,

Try recording something, then quit Mixcraft and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file, which is located in this folder:

%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft

Another way to find it is to click on the Windows Start Menu, select All Programs, then Acoustica Mixcraft 6 (or 5) and finally Logs.

Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.

Greg

Hi Greg,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I have found the log you mentioned and it is quite a large file, do you want me to send the entire file ?
Best regards,
Maurice.

Hi Greg,
Looking through my previous posts I came across some advice
which said that the snap should be off for deleting part of a track.
On checking, I found that the snap was still off so I switched to snap
to measure and tried another recording and it seems to be fine.
Could this have been the problem ?
Best regards,
Maurice.

Snap won't affect recording, but it will affect moving, deleting parts of clips or anything else that requires positioning.

Yes, attach the log file, don't copy/paste it's text into the email. That will give us the whole log.
