There were several songs created in a trial of Mixcraft 6. I purchased the CD at Best Buy and now I can't find those songs even though they were saved in a separate folder. How do I get the purchased version to read the trial songs? Any help at all would be appreciated.

The version Best Buy sells is Mixcraft Home Studio, it cannot open Full Mixcraft project files.
You can click the upgrade button to get Mixcraft or Mixcraft Pro Studio at a discounted price.
