Aren't RAR files a form of compression like ZIP files? which are no way close to DLLs

Hi,

RAR is a file compression format. The two kinds of plugins that Mixcraft supports are VST and DirectX.

We don't support RTAS.

Exactly.

In my experience, RAR is used as a compression format for large musical data files. All my 3rd party Kontakt libraries for instance came as RAR files and had to be unpacked. I used jZip to unpack them.

Hi,

If you've got a RAR file you want to extract you need a program like the Free RAR Extract Frog.
