Exporting midi - mix levels

Postby MojoJojo » Wed Jan 16, 2013 11:10 am

Hello everybody!

Since this is my first post, be gentle with me :)

I have searched the forum for an answer, but is nowhere to be found..

My problem is this:
I've wanted to use MixCraft for editing MIDI files, mostly because the levels aren't equally strong, some MIDIs are louder, some quieter, and all in all are a pain in the a** when using them through my PA.
The problem that I am having is, that MixCraft works beautifully when it comes to editing, I can change an save practically anything from key, tempo,... except the levels. I set the levels of the instruments as I want, I go to export, but nothing changes. Whilst everything else that I've alternated changes, levels stay the same..

Is there something I am missing? How do I overcome this problem?

Help would be much obliged,
Regards
Mojo

Hi,

How did you adjust the levels? Did you try this?

Yes, I've tried with the mixing console, with the ways the screenshot shows, when I save it, no effect is shown.. :(

After literally days of banging my head against the wall, this suddenly does the trick:

Isn't there a simpler solution?

Hi,

I think that would be your best bet.

Greg
