Progress Report:
I have installed all my Sample Tank, Miroslav Philharmonik, and Kontakt libraries pretty much without incident other than I forgot all my passwords and had to redo them

Luckily I tried logins on the various sites BEFORE installation and authorization.
I've started another thread on the portability of projects using libraries between computers. If you have any knowledge of others like EWQL, Garritan, Project SAM, etc please add to that thread for future reference.
As far as the computer goes: Fabulous machine with a couple of hiccups.
1. The BIOS was corrupted on the second day. Luckily Gigabyte has dual Bios so it booted from the second one

I had issues with the other computer with this too and it was always after I had used my 2 M-Audio keyboards (Oxygen 8 and Keystation 61es). On that computer I found if I turned them on before booting the system all went fine. If not, problems next bootup. I haven't had much time to experiment with this machine, but next time I use keyboards I'll follow that rule. Any ideas on this from the more knowledgeable as to why this might be?
2. If you can remember I had several posts concerning artifacts on my last computer. I had attributed it to the old box itself. Well lo & behold artifacts on the new system too. The only thing they both had in common is the M-Audio Audiophile 192 which I moved to the new machine, so there is something wrong with the playback on that card. Time to go shopping again. Meanwhile I'm using my Focusrite VRM box as a playback device with the VRM turned off. Works OK
It was very interesting when I loaded my biggest project, which I had to freeze every track but the one I was working on on the old machine (long Soundcloud example). Without freezing CPU was at 90% and it sounded like popcorn. On the new machine, CPU usage topped out at 5% with all the tracks unfrozen. Task Master showed 7 of the 12 cores active at that time.
