how do you sidechain in Mixcraft Pro Studio 6?

Postby DJ Housefly » Sat Feb 16, 2013 8:41 pm

hey, i currently use an LFO VST that syncs to the host tempo to create that sidechain pumping/ducking effect. is it possible to use a bus or a send track to compress a MIDI signal when an audio clip (a kick, for example) is played? if so, how?

thanks!

This is a feature request that has been voiced a few times.
There currently is no way to do it native in Mixcraft.

With that said, I use Twisted Lemon Sidekick 4 for sidechain compression.

Hi,

Yes, use a third-party plugin like Twisted Lemon Sidekick if you need to sidechain in Mixcraft.
