I loaded up a song I made to show it to a friend, and it said that the following error occured while loading my project:
Unable to load instrument "Acoustica Instruments"
I'm not sure how to fix this. Anyone else know? It's happened before and just gone away, but that doesn't seem to be the case this time.

Hi,

What version and build of Mixcraft is your friend running?

Mixcraft 6.1 Build 204. And I meant that I loaded it up on my Mixcraft when my friend was over to show him a song I made in Mixcraft.

Hi,

The next time this happens, quit Mixcraft and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file, which is located in this folder:

%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft

Another way to find it is to click on the Windows Start Menu, select All Programs, then Acoustica Mixcraft 6 (or 5) and finally Logs. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.

I sent the log, and I followed the advice, which was to erase the names of the effects in the VSTIgnore file or whatever it was called. But when I tried that, not only did it not work, now more of the instruments and effects won't load...

Hi,

Send us your log file again so we can see what's happening now, please.

Hi,

What version and build are you using? If you don't already have Mixcraft version 6.1 build 213, give it a try. It's on Mixcraft's download page.

If the problem happens again with the latest build, quit Mixcraft immediately and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file, which is located in this folder:

%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft

Another way to find it is to click on the Windows Start Menu, select All Programs, then Acoustica Mixcraft 6 (or 5) and finally Logs. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.
