Sometimes, during playback I hear popping, cracling sound, when the player-marker line start the play some envelope.

For example I play something with MIDI keyboard, I click the record at 1 minute 25 sec, but I start the play with MIDI 1 minute 30 sec.

During playback I hear a popping, (just only one), 1 minute 25 sec, exactly, when the envelope starts.

A bit similar to the sound when the sound card is weak...

I do not know that at the end of the audio file to be heard?

Need to take care of this?

latency buffers are set too low. try upping the settings a bit @ a time until it disappears but the sound is not lagging.

If none of the above work, try doing a slow fade-in to the point the MIDI begins.

Unfortunately, this crackling is included in the mp3 song too.

I use the Mixcraft6 with WaveRT in Win7.

Write to the latency of less than 20 ms (3), but really do not know how much exactly.
Here I can not set the buffer size

not sure if I'm understanding right but if you have the latency set right & still have pops/skips in both the recording & also the mp3 tacks perhaps you have clipping(too hot signal) somewhere. can you isolate each track & find it or is it in all tracks? I had the same issue w/ an intermittent snare drum track & realized I had clicked off the compressor for that track.

Guys,

From what I'm reading, Gasparius is not experiencing general pops and clicks associated with settings, but one artifact at the beginning of certain clips.

IMO this is an issue with the VSTi. I have experienced this, especially on some Kontakt instruments. G has empty space at the beginning of the clip so he can do a slow fade-in and if the problem is as I think, problem solved.

Yes, this is not a general problem, only it will be heard when I wrote above.
