Can you insert loops without crossfading on each other?

Postby jegtar75 » Fri Mar 29, 2013 11:42 pm

I have an issue but not sure how to word it properly, so my searches aren't revealing anything:

I have Drums on Demand and Bass on Demand (WAV Loops) and would like to throw the intro+verse+chorus+verse etc. and then adjust the song by hitting the plus (+ 1) on the loops to change accordingly. Is there a way to do this without the loops crossfading? Basically I want a loop to push the others when I extend it.

I would like the loops to behave like drumbot on some of my projects (http://www.drumbot.com/projects/drumbot/index.html)

Thanks in advance!

No, Mixcraft won't automatically "float" other clips out of the way when you drag and drop a new clip in between others. You have to move them manually.

Nice suggestion though! :)

BTW, that drumbot online app is from a guy named Michael Gieson. When you google "guitar tuner" his online guitar tuner app is right up there at the top of the results.

I've used that one for years.

Thanks VA. Just checked out the tuner, that's really cool, I will have to try some new alternate tunings now. The quality of some of these online tools have become pretty amazing.
