Soundfont Players

Postby ARMRushworth » Fri May 24, 2013 7:54 am

So I've recently been enlightened by the world of soundfonts, but I've come across a bit of a problem :? If I have say 3 or more soundfonts running at one time, I come up with an error saying that the plugin has crashed and will be muted. This happens with Phenom and Shortcircuit (haven't really tried DSK SF2 with it as there doesn't seem to be any overlay option for the sounds so sounds horrid).

I reckon it could be due to my CPU (step-down from i3) or RAM (3GB), but I was just wandering if it is to do with this and if I can fix it or if there is a better soundfont player that I hopefully won't have this error with.

Cheers, Ash

Thanks for that Dave,

Support videos were a bit thin on the ground but I'm getting the basics of it.
I've also found a link to some great soundfonts if it's useful to anyone ...

Have fun :)

You are welcome Gary and thanks for that link. I am looking for some orchestral sounds. :D
