OFC warning

Postby trevlyns » Fri Aug 30, 2013 2:46 pm

OFC (old farts club) members, I regretfully must report a true senior moment that just occurred.

Wife: why didn't you take the empty bottles out for re-cycling?
Me: Well I did remember something, can't think what it was now.

Is there hope?

Don't fret - those are the types of memories that keep on giving! Now if the female side would tend to FORGET some stuff, it might make life a little less stressful. (P.S. Don't tell the other half I said this ).

Me: Well I did remember something, can't think what it was now.

I've tried that one. It only works 2 or 3 times. The best one is "Sorry, as you say I am just a stupid man" and look like a dog that just got yelled at.

My variation:
"Damn, your right! Your always right. It really annoying! Why do you have to always be right?"
Then look hurt. It never works, but yet deflects somehow. Well, not even that, but I do it anyway.
She is always right. Really annoying.
Stay in tune, Mark

Trevor

This reminds me of the story of the two recent members of the OFC that are sitting down at the table and one of them says to the other...
"did you see on the news today that they have discovered a treatment that helps to improve the memory?"

The other guy says....
"That sounds great..... what is it made out of?"

The first guy said ......
"well it is some sort of plant extract"

So the other guy said ....
"what plant is that?"

The first guy said .....
"its made out of...... oh hang on let me think.... its .... ummmm......."

After a moment he thinks for a moment and said....
"Whats that plant called that has bright red petals, a beautiful fragrence and the stems have thorns?"

The second guy said.....
"You mean a Rose!"

The first guy gets all excited and says......
"Thats it... Thats it...."

Then he shouts out to the kitchen.....
"Hey Rose .... Whats the name of that plant we saw on the news today!!"

Great one John :D

Gypsy, our trash has to be out early on the day (can't leave it out overnight because of foxes).

Nine times out of then I lock myself out the house because I forget to put the Yale lock off and have to wake the missus with frantic pounding on the door.

Destroys any romantic intentions for a good week.

Visions.

Gotta drastically revise my ideas of romantic intentions and the way they are apparently practised. Don't think my girlfriend is gonna like it. She hates the dentist and still loves her teeth.

But i want to be a musician, so if she truly loves me...
