Using marker for key change?

Postby trevlyns » Sat Oct 19, 2013 9:43 am

Hey guys

I can't seem to get this function to work - any help much appreciated.

My current project has a mixture of virtual (MIDI) and audio tracks and I'm wanting to implement a key change across all tracks for the last verse. I have auto beat match on and have checked out the Acoustica videos - seems you just place a marker and edit to whatever key/tempo you want.

Problem is it only seems to change 1 or 2 random virtual instrument tracks and not others. I realize I can change audio clips by adjusting the sound tab, but I'm looking for a quick fix - otherwise I'll have to record all of the last verse again. :(

Has anybody experienced this or am I doing something stoopid... How would you change key for a mixture of audio and MIDI tracks?

I tested it out and it works. If your tracks, in the sound tab, are not set to "adjust to project key", then the key change won't work. :)

Woo Hoo - that was it!!!

Thanks Tom, you saved me an all-nighter there buddy. I also changed the project preferences so I won't get caught again.
