I just purchased a Lexicon Alpha that came with Cubase 4 LE and the Pantheon Reverb VST. I don't want to use Cubase (obviously) but when I try to have Mixcraft load the Pantheon .dll file, I get an error about it not being licensed for use in Mixcraft. What gives? There's gotta be some sort of hack out there to allow the Pantheon to work with Mixcraft. I would hate to have to learn Cubase now that I just got comfortable with Mixcraft!!

Hi,

Some plugins only work with the program they come with. You're not allowed to use that in Mixcraft due to licensing restrictions.

Hi, Here's another example of what Greg just said.
I've got the Sony movie studio platinum suite 2013 and it comes with soundforge 10 and loads of effects that Mixcraft recognises and can utilise quite easily but the one effect that refuses to play ball is Izotope. I too get the message "this software is not registered with this program and will close" so sorry to tell but Izotope only allows soundforge to use it. :(

Having owned a Lexicon Alpha, I can confirm that the Pantheon Reverb is not compatible with Mixcraft.

I queried this with the manufactures' who said it was designed to be used exclusively with Cubase LE which ships with the Alpha.
