Re: Yamaha S90 VST?

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but are you outputting the S90 to speakers? There’s no “sound” within the VST editor. If you’re seeing midi data recorded, it sounds like an output issue. The Editor just allows the S90 to “appear” to function like a VST as all sound and effects will be hand...

Re: Cakewalk by BandLabs WOW!

I have to disagree. In terms of DAW specific features, Cakewalk is an extremely good program. Personally I much prefer the UI and GUI to MixCraft. Some of the plug-ins included (for free) with Cakewalk cost more than MC8 Pro. Yeah, they took away some content, but what you DO get for FREE isn’t some...

MixCraft and SampleTank?

Do MixCraft and SampleTank get along? I’m considering adding SampleTank 4 SE. It’s currently on sale for $49.99 on their site.

Thx

Re: SONiVOX Singles Bundle on sale!

At $15 each, it’s not worth it. At $2.49 each for the bundle, it’s worth it. They’re not stellar, but a few have their strengths. The Taylor Guitar and Bright Electric have patches for strumming. The Blue Jay Drum kit is really nice. I wouldn’t pay $15 each for any of them, but the $24.99 bundle is ...

Re: MixCraft and TTS-1 DXi ???

.... You just want an affordable multitimbral instrument with many sounds? Xpand!2 is $19.99 on Plugin Boutique at the moment, and sounds better than everything above. +100 on the above suggestion. This is a great rompler for the price, and if you're not in a hurry, wait for one of their $1 sales w...

Re: MixCraft and TTS-1 DXi ???

I actually have the TTS-1. I use it in Cakewalk. I also have the Roland RS-70, which has Roland’s GM2 patch set, but due to space in my setup, it’s too cumbersome having to set it up, and take it down. I looked at the Sound Canvas VST, and while I do like it, I feels it’s overpriced when you conside...

Re: MixCraft and TTS-1 DXi ???

Thanks for the response. I can still use it in Cakewalk, but thought it’d make a great alternative GM set in MixCraft.

Cakewalk by BandLabs WOW!

Wow! Has anyone here in the forums downloaded Cakewalk by BandLabs yet? I used Cakewalk many years ago. I thought it was gone, but it was picked up by BL’s, and it’s FREE! It’s a full featured version too, and even though some VST’s and plug-ins were removed to allow them to offer it free, it still ...

Re: UJAM software crashing MixCraft-8 Pro!

Thank you! I’ve gotten so used to just copying the dll files directly to the 3rd party folder.

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

The problem with that is it often requires some serious tweaking to get them to sound good. Grooves from 3rd party VST’s are programmed to utilize the preset kits for that software. I’ve copied the midi data from MT PowerKit 2’s preset grooves onto tracks using MixCraft kits, and it was a lot of wor...

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

It would be awesome if the dev team could put together drum groove midi clips. Various styles with intros, variations, fills, endings. It would be great to have something like that for the Acoustica kits.

Re: UJAM software crashing MixCraft-8 Pro!

I think I did use a different address than here. I followed the MixCraft prompt to report and send a log file. Took me directly to your server. It was a frontier account that I used. Name was Provost.

My files aren’t hidden. Checked under Explorer. I sent Acoustica the log file. Maybe they can sort it out.
