Re: The Grind

Hi,
I like it as an instrumental. Where can we hear the new version with the added guitar?

Re: MIXCRAFT 8 GLITCHES ON POWERFUL GAMING COMPUTER

Hi,
How many ssd or hdd are installed on this computer? I use a separate hdd for recorded audio. Your vocal recording not lining up may be caused if you only have one drive.

Re: Yamaha PSR-S975 - What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
Is there a mixer section in the soundblaster settings. You may just have to turn the level up for that input. It happened to me once on my older computed.

Summer Fun/ Sun Rise/ DeVille Mixers theme

Hi, These are three different pieces I did using Mixcraft. - Summer Fun is jazz-rock piece with 3 electric guitar parts, Rhodes piano, B3 organ, and drum kit. I composed, and play the keyboard parts. My son played the drums, a friend plays the guitar parts. The organ goes thru a real Leslie, mic'd w...

Re: Yamaha PSR-S975 - What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
If you are trying to record audio from your synth, find the audio outputs on the synth and connect them to your soundcard audio input. In Mixcraft, select that input as your source. Then press record to record the sound.
Hope this helps.

Re: Future of the daw

Hi, I saw the daw become the new version of multitrack recording, replacing tape. As computers got more powerful track counts got bigger. Plugins brought down cost processors, so people could do more. Same with virtual instruments. Audio interfaces improved, now with better mic preamp and with a var...

Re: Audio Interface Survey

Hi,
When I got my new computer, built for music production, I got Mixcraft and a Focusrite 18i20. It works great with Mixcraft. I gives me the inputs in wanted, and is expandable if I need more inputs. It allows me to use hardware processing as well.

Re: A Must Have

I use mine all the time. I do live sound for a local high school as there tech director. I check cables while setting up so I don't have surprises. I use it in my studio when I build my cables, and check my cables when I have not used them for a while. Works great. It helps find intermittent cable p...

Re: PC:

Hi, I did like the post above. I looked up what music stores were selling for music daw computers. I had a local computer store build one from the spec's I thought were important for what I wanted in a music production computer. I kept it with in a budget. I did a desktop computer. Along with a ssd,...

Re: Live mixing in the studio (not 'out there')

Hi, You can play back your recorded tracks and record your vocal to a new armed audio track. You will need to use headphones so the instrument sounds don't get recorded in the vocal track. To get a stereo mix of your instruments, just mix down to wav or mp3. You can do all mixing in Mixcraft to get ...
