Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

2, Ability to save a MIDI clip as a MIDI file, not as song, not as anything but a MIDI file--so I can load into another DAW, to be frank. It is possible to do this now but not directly, only with a "work-around". Adjunctively, allow drag and drop of files from a desktop browser side-bar r...

Re: Melodyn 4.2.2 has expired

Hi,

Celemony released the updated version with the fix before I'd even heard from any customers with this problem.

Re: Voxengo SPAN unable to use sidechain

Hi,

Not all plugins support sidechaining. It's mostly compressors that offer a sidechain option.

Re: New Printer. Canon Pixma TS822

Hi, Be sure to use the Canon TS8000 Series template in the Paper Type setting, then click Properties. This brings up the settings for your printer driver. I think there are four settings with names like Media Type, Paper Size, Paper Source, etc. Some of these menus may have sub-menus. You need to ha...

Re: Saving Markers

Hi,

Once again, Mixcraft will save the markers to a .mid file if there is a time signature or tempo change.

I've filed a feature suggestion to save markers with no tempo or time signature changes.

Re: Saving Markers

Hi, It will save them if there is a tempo or time signature change. I made a project that had markers with no tempo or time signature change, and those markers weren't saved. However, if the marker has a tempo change or time signature change, it will be in the saved MIDI file. So, I guess the featur...

Re: Saving Markers

Hi,

If the MIDI files have markers in them, and if you use File Menu > Open Project to open them, the markers will be there.

Here's an example file:

time_for_me_to_fly.mid
MIDI file
(51.51 KiB) Downloaded 3 times

Post the project file and I'll check it out.

Skuttla wrote:Thanks for your replies. None of your suggestions worked.

If I save as an .mx8 file the markers are there when I re-open the file.
But saving and then re-opening as a .mid file they have gone.

Hi,

Do the markers have tempo changes in them?

Re: Missing Bass Tracks WAS: Re-opend saved project - all tracks lost except 1

Hi,

You're missing the bass tracks from a project? They were audio files? Are you using Mixcraft v8.1 build 418?

Re: Saving Markers

Hi,

When you open the .mid file, open it by clicking on Mixcraft's File menu and selecting Open Project.

Don't use "Add A Sound File" to add the .mid file.

Using Open Project will add various things like track markers that you wouldn't get otherwise.

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

Oh, it's just a poll that asks whether people would rather have tempo automation or curved automation.

Of course, we're going to have both, but it's fun to see which feature people want most. Curved automation is leading tempo automation %59 to %41. 220 votes.

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

Out of curiosity... Any idea when or about when we might be told what new features and MX8 bugs will be fixed in MX9? :?: Also cost? Thanks Hi, One of these days, the feature set will start leaking. I've already mentioned some of them in this very thread. Scroll up. Did you see the poll on Facebook...

Re: Behringer Motor 61 controller compatability MC8

Hi,

Go into Mixcraft's Control Surfaces preferences and select Mackie Control. The motorized faders should work in that mode.

Alternatively, you could map it with MIDI Learn.

Download Mixcraft and try it for free!

Re: Autotune Pro and Izotope 5 causing crash?

Hiya, did this ever get resolved? I am having the exact same issues with the exact same plugins. It only happened after I purchased and installed them. However I am also using Nectar Elements alongside them. Hi, Wait until it crashes again, then quit Mixcraft and send us your Mixcraft-log.txt file ...
