Re: Band-in-a-Box Plugin Freezes Mixcraft

My eyes glazed over well before the 100th incidence of:
"CCustomSynthView (effect list) received notification"

I don't see anything obvious that jumps right out as a strong clue there. :?

Re: Quality and EQ being affected when mixing down.

Also, double check that your new computer doesn't have "audio enhancements" enabled that alter the sound upon playback of rendered project files.
It is very common in many current brands to find that there are settings turned on by default that alter the playback pretty much as described.

Re: Band-in-a-Box Plugin Freezes Mixcraft

Have never tried to run BIAB as a plug in., but just for another perspective- Try the VST2. 8) I am still at this point only even trying VST3 versions of plug-ins where there is a clear reason to, (such as the Melodyne ARA) Otherwise, I don't even install the VST3 versions of plug-ins at this time. ...

Re: Imported Wav Tracks Alignment

Theres a key combo to move the clips in micro increments, and I apologize that I cant provide them just this moment as I am far from my workstation on a mobile device. I think its in the keyboard shortcuts segment near the end of the users guide. Otherwise, I suspect Greg will chime in shortly...… A...

Re: session file (.mx7) issue & audio file

I'm going to take a wild stab here.... Actually perhaps more of an "experienced guess" as I think I have explored every possible way to fubar the file management while learning how NOT to do things! Anyway, I think we have established the OP's audio files were "archived" without ...

Re: Melodyne extract audio to MIDI video

Its clearly not the same one, but your description reminds me of a Craig Anderton tutorial on using Melodyne to convert audio to MIDI and then use the MIDI to trigger another instrument. He indicates what he was showing could be done with Melodyne Essentials, but I could never find a way to do it in...

I could be wrong, but I don't think that's what the OP meant. 8)

Re: In melodyine, where's the pitch correction tool?

That feature isn't available in the version included in Mixcraft.

I think there is a comparison chart at Celemony's site that shows the various features each version includes.

Re: Modernize the user interface

as in you’re suggesting that Mixcraft 9 should include a moveable transport (which it will) No one has said "it will" and arent likely to in my experience as new version features are generally not disclosed pre-release. All that was confirmed is that is has been suggested and logged as a ...

Re: Modernize the user interface

 if I were forced to stare at Bitwig for an hour I think I would become suicidal! And the "modern graphics", (Win10 included) are hideously bad! While there are several minor areas where the graphics in Mixcraft could benefit from some tweaking, as as been discussed here so many times...

Totally changes the experience for me. In a good way!
Even though it's "just a slide show" the fit and engagement just works.

Nice work! 8)

Re: I can do something the programmers can't, or won't

That's what I've done all along, sizing it to the largest size that still leaves the transport bar uncovered. Or dragging the unlocked window to screen #2 where applicable. But it's still a good feature suggestion IMO as I have previously said. An un-dockable transport window would be a boon to many...

Re: I can do something the programmers can't, or won't

Mick, As I read this and recall, Ian and I both have supported the proposed change for the transport bar and have all along. (Personally I think a dockable window would provide the most flexible solution to the most users) Ian pointed out the app as a secondary though less desirable solution, as a w...

iOS and Android. Try looking on iTunes and Android Play, and I believe the Amazon Appstore.

There is some info on it here in the forum if you search. Go back about 5 years or so.

Re: New computer

The bottom line.... Varies. "System requirements" is a minimum.standard parameter that sets a base line core program operation and has little to do with actual performance. IE: using a system that meets minimum requirements means the program will run and little else. This is true of most a...
