Re: Yamaha PSR-S975 - What am I doing wrong?

I think Tom may be on the right track here, but just an additional thought for diagnostic purposes: Similar to what Greg suggests above, you could check the output of the keyboard's lineout jack. Headphones, (starting with the level down!) would give a potentially useful clue as to where you are hea...

Re: LIST of WAVES Plugins that WORK in MX8

You have the option during install to choose or install all versions.
But the version isn't an install problem as far as I have found, its a functional problem after installation.

The problem isnt clear, as its not described. Hard to help further without aimless wandering on the subject.

Re: Neutron 3

Neutron3 is pretty remarkable. Works well and I like. But even though it is lighter on resources than the previous version, I would still suggest this type of plug-in has elevated resource needs and may not perform well on a marginal system. As to comparing "Mastering Essentials".... Opini...

Re: Jamstiks 4 Your Thoughts and Experience

I too have never used Jamstix. As I understand it, this is used as a MIDI input application used as a "front end" for other drum instrument programs, targeted at getting "realistic" and "human" performances. This is interesting and something I might explore in the futur...

Re: My video saves as a huge file

Might be helpful if you mentioned the Mixcraft version and build, mixdown format used, etc.
Have you tried others?

Re: Help Choosing Plugins

Yes. There is a parametric included. (Tone Boosters- "TB parametric" as I recall.) Perfectly good place to start IMO. When you discover the need, the other options mentioned may be worth considering. And I agree, TDR Nova is one heck of a plug-in for free. Love the dynamic eq feature perso...

Re: vst PROBLEMS

What plug-ins specifically?
32 or 64 bit OS?
32 or 64 bit DAW?
Etc. (In other words, more info might help people help you. Being vague doesnt help.)

Also, if it is related to your other post on Waves plug ins, see my reply there.

Re: LIST of WAVES Plugins that WORK in MX8

I have more than a few Waves titles. Theres only one I never got to work in Mixcraft, but I didnt put much effort into it. (Free bonus, One Knob Pumper, which I cant imagine ever using.) I will admit to struggling with the installation of every title, every time I add one. Even after getting a bette...

Re: Help Choosing Plugins

Wow Warren, you stick to your guns man, your going to do just fine. Another great question! Go with your initial gut feeling. Ignore much of the overwhelming plug-in content, it is just an abundance of distraction! Opinion: Lets say right up front- 90% is the song. Arrangement, composition, and wher...

Re: Simple automation track question: delete single track ?

Sorry if the description might be missleading, some simple things are harder to describe :-). Here is a screen that might help to explain what I want to do: Yep, images are good for clearing up the details! Glad to see you have found a good solution. But now when I know no problem (until I forget a...

Re: Simple automation track question: delete single track ?

Track? Lane?
You can delete all automation in just one automation lane if that's what you mean.
