Re: Izotope essentials bundle

Morning,

Appreciate the heads up! Does Ozone essentials have the multi band panning function or is it just like Ozone Imager?

Thanks!

Hi,

Does that work on a track-by-track basis or is there such thing as a multitrack MIDI file?

Re: BUG: "Use selection" checkbox of "Mix Down To" dialog is not remembered

Afternoon,

That would certainly be consistent with how other things operate, which is to say that they remain as you leave them. The last quantize setting holds over if you reopen that dialogue, for instance.

I think the point is consistency with anything like that.

Re: Future of the daw

Morning! Hopefully they will figure out these automated mastering algorithms they are working on and can incorporate them into the DAWs. I can't master to save my life, and will probably never have the time to learn it either. That said, I hate loud commercial music anyway so it's all good with my q...

Evening,

I’ll take the malevolent position and suggest the removal of that checkbox altogether and just have whatever is selected mix down, or the whole thing if nothing is selected lol.

PS: maybe we need a MC9 feature delete request thread too!

Re: Update mixcraft

Afternoon, I first bought MC5 so close to the MC6 release date that Acoustica did upgrade me for free, but that was the home studio version. I imagine that the large amount of included third party plugin licenses means that some outlay should be expected. Whatever it is it will be reasonable. I’m go...

Re: Mixcraft 9

Morning,

Good deal. I was thinking about turning on my screen capture during the testing phase to catch whatever might happen and what triggered it.

Then again, MC9 will of course be perfect immediately, ;)

Re: Mixcraft 9

Hi,

Thanks Greg. Just curious, do bugs tend to manifest around new features that have been added, or are things interconnected enough where they just crop up anywhere?

Choosing a budget home studio computer

Evening!

Hot off the press, this video takes a peek at my two surplus enterprise machines and why I picked them for my home studio!

Re: VSCO2 VST Instruments Crashing Mixcraft when opening project

Evening,

I’m pretty sure this issue has to do with VSCO and not Mixcraft, as it does the same thing in other DAWs.

Besides, the orchestral sounds in MC are great! Observe:

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Afternoon, What would everyone think of having curve templates or even a curve wizard to automate the automation curve entry process? You could choose the shape, amplitude, attack and decay rates and the wizard would make a curve as a selection you could snap to the grid and drop it, or select repea...

Re: Mixcraft 9

Afternoon,

Newbie question:

Does Acoustica kinda train/instruct their beta testers a little bit or is there some reputable source of information of how the process works/how to test/take notes, etc...?

Might as well get prepared while we wait!

Re: Disable Auto-Crossfade?

Morning,

How about adding a lane (Alt-L) or Right-Click (the track)->Lanes->Add? Then you can drag the second clip to the additional lane and do whatever you want!

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

Evening, Having tried just about everything out there for my YT channel, MC is doing just fine in the interface department from here. If anything, maybe some of the individual elements could be tweaked and made more uniform/distinctive in appearance like the fader/meters, pan sliders, the blue windo...
