Re: PSP MixPack2?

Morning, Last night I had a chance to really put the PSP plugins to use and they work great. Very transparent sound yet effective at the same time. I especially like the Treble and Saturator, haven’t found a use for the Bass yet. The compressor is good too, although I couldn’t find the ratio setting...

Re: Sunday Night Jam

Evening, Tonight's Sunday Night Jam comes to you as a mega edition, some 13 minutes of Mixcraft goodness! This episode features my new "portable studio" laptop and controller; everything in this track was written with them using only plugins included with Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio. Enjoy! http...

Frequency Analyzer?

Morning,

Is there a frequency analyzer (or a plugin with a built-in analyzer), that makes sort of a peak snapshot? I'd like to make a controlled comparison of some drums without beating them 9,000,000 times.

Re: The last thing you want to hear

Not sure why but I’d consider Lo-Fi-ing the drums for the first part/verse and then let the full sound sneak out as they tighten up into the second part/chorus.

Evening,

Okay, here you go! Not much to it, just kinda slapped it together for a demo.

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

Afternoon! Ok, here goes: 1. Automatic zero-cross function/option on loops. This makes the difference between composing/performing live with the performance panel or not. If you have delay or reverb tails on a clip, there is no time to take care of popping and clicking when the loop repeats while yo...

Here's a pic of two more of my girls. Made in Mexico (MIM) Fender Jazz Standard on the left and Made in America (MIA) Fender Jazz Standard on the right. Oops sorry for the sideway pic (MIM) bottom and (MIA) top... I don't know how/why the pic posted sideways. A regular harem! Any fretlessessess? -N

M-Audio Code Series

Morning, Anyone here running one of the M-Audio Code Series keyboard controllers? I think I like the feel of that board best out of everything they have at Guitar Center. https://m-audio.com/products/view/code-61-black Any thoughts on integration with MC would be appreciated! My Keystation is dying ...

Re: Applied Acoustics Swatches (Free)

Nice! I also like the AAS product line. Good sounds, but equally important to me- generally nice clean and intuitive GUI's without a great deal of clutter and complexity. I picked up the free Swatches add-on on some time ago but am guilty of not taking the time to explore it much. So thanks for the...

Applied Acoustics Swatches (Free)

Evening! If you have Mixcraft 8 ProStudio and have never played with the Applied Acoustics Journeys/Entangled species plugins that came with MC, this video is for you! On it I demonstrate their free "Swatches" compilation. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2i2X6-D ... e=youtu.be - N

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Morning!

Automatic zero cross option for looping waveforms and envelopes, especially for the performance panel where manual adjustments are not really possible in situ without zoom.

Pretty fundamental to loop making and will help immensely.

Sunday Night Jam

Evening! I'm going to try to do some kind of a weekly jam video on YouTube. Episode 1 features my Yamaha Reface CS analog synth, which I hooked up to MC for the first time. It was an interesting experience doing MIDI and Audio with it at the same time but it worked out well, and provided the opportu...
