Re: Preferences BUG!!

Hi Greg, yes only MIDI preferences. It is not reproduceable and there's nothing in the log file to explain it.

I have changed languages in 32 bit MC8 but never in 64 bit. If 64 & 32 bit versions share the same registry entries that might explain some of it. If not, then....

Preferences BUG!!

I've reported this before but it happened again. ON IT'S OWN MC8 keeps changing the language set to Chinese-Simplified. I went into Preferences to select a new MIDI input and when I clicked OK I got 2 warnings: 1. "You have changed the language setting. You will need to restart Mixcraft for the...

Minor Issues

A few issues I've noticed using Pianissimo... 1. Both 32 & 64 bit vsti's installed with Mixcraft make a fuzzy distortion when using Cathedral reverb. The 32 bit standalone and it's vsti, installed separately from Mixcraft, sound fine. The standalone vsti has an older date stamp so they are diffe...

Re: Sympathetic Resonance

I wish it were "very loud". It's not but it is noticeable. In real life, even when the pedal is up you still get some reaction from surrounding keys, which is why there isn't a sampled piano in the world that sounds right when played pedals up. There's also always a little reverb as the so...

Re: Searching For The Perfect Piano

As to layering 2 or more VST's in stand alone mode, 1st I open Pianissimo stand alone.

Then open Kontakt stand alone and load the VSCO2 Piano from the Files menu and assign Options > MIDI to the same channel as Pianissimo.

Now I can control them both with one outboard synth/controller.

Re: Trouble copying many clips between projects

Try copy/pasting only 5 or 10 at a time.

A feature request would be to make copy/paste between 2 open MC instances possible AND/OR drag&drop clips from a project to your desktop/folder so they can be dragged into another project.

This would be a HUGE hassle buster/time saver. 8)

Re: 'New Theme' Issue/Bug?

I don't normally run as admin. This thing happens maybe once out of every 10 times going into Preferences. And I go into Preferences about once out of every 20/30 times using MC8. I'll try to run MC8 as admin every time I use it and see what happens. Knowing me, the one time I forget to run as admin...

413 here.

… it wouldn't be permitting Chinese hackers into my system?!? Chinese-Simplified is the 1st language in the list so could be some kind of default reset glitch.

Re: 'New Theme' Issue/Bug?

It happened again. After going into Preferences/Plugins to rescan my plugins, I got the "You changed the language" and "You changed the theme" messages, which require a restart for the changes to take affect, Only this time I was using MC8x64 with factory default theme and settin...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

The Preferences setting also affects the shortcut key. If they could be separated then the transport button can behave one way and the shortcut key the other way making both functions available at the same time.

Re: Mixcraft still the easiest learning curve!

However, it's possible that the "way" each DAW handles and processes the audio afterward can vary, affecting how the mix sounds.

Re: The WORST feature in Mixcraft is.........

Not sure what the original issue is here but MC behaves no differently than any other DAW I've used.

In my case the interface/mixer's headphone pot IS too hot and can't be used above the 1st tick mark beyond -0- unless the main fader is nearly all the way down.

Re: The WORST feature in Mixcraft is.........

One should always check/set output volume BEFORE doing anything else. The main volume fader in MC8 stays put when saving a project. Otherwise it slides very easily for me. New projects default to -0- as they should but having no sound data there's nothing to hear at any level. I use an ASIO interfac...
