What do some of you recommend as an affordable drum VST for acoustic kits?

Thx!

If you're just starting out, try MT Power Drums. Free and a great intro to ITB drums. I have EZDRUMMER2 and love it!

I usually tap-in drums with pads, but I’m also considering buying EZDRUMMER2.

UPDATE: Sweetwater.com has Toontrack EZDRUMMER2 on sale right now for only $119.
I just finished downloading and installing it about 20 minutes ago.
Now I'm learning how to use it, lol, but so far, I like it very much. :D

Its going to take me a few days (at least) to get the hang of everything EZDRUMMER2 can really do, but so far its amazing and I haven't even tried it with my surface pads (Akai MPK249) yet... All I can say so far is WOW, lol. :D
I'm watching EZD2 Videos on YouTube, lots of tips (I haven't read the manual yet, but got it working)… If you have any good links, please post them.

BTW: I bought the basic EZD2 software, which comes with EZdrummer2 Modern/Vintage and EZdrummer2 Percussion... Do you have any of the optional EZD2 drum packs, and if so, which one(s)... and how do you like them, do you need them, are they worth the extra money, etc?

I bought the Nashville and Indie kits, they're good but you can do most anything with a standard kit and tweaking.

There's ezd2 midi maps out there for when you map your pads you'll know what numbers work with which drums. The Akai software is pretty straight forward.

Seconded. More than enough for most applications IMO.
