Problem with MusicLab Guitar series of products

Postby TheRainbowSquid » Sun Apr 22, 2018 11:59 am

Hello!
So,
I have recently purchased the most recent versions of RealGuitar, RealStrat, and RealEight.
I was very excited to use these new products, but, as my subject line shows, I have been unable to.
Inside Mixcraft's interface, the VSTs work fine, and I can add as many effects as I want.
However, when I export the project as audio, the guitars flat out do not work for 6-7 measures in the song.
This is really frustrating, and I would really like it if I could find a solution

Hiya

I run the same ones without a hitch. Much depends on the setting you have in the RealGuitar GUI.

If you are playing a mid file not created in RG or have exported from the song tab and imported to Mx8 track then it could be you don't have Midi tab selected in Real Guitar. If you have Song tab selected it picks up from the playback head in RG and won't sync correctly with Mixcraft. This will appear to have bars missing.

Hope this may help.

When you open the interface, (select Realguitar vst from the vst instruments then click on the Edit drop down to open the GUi. You will see the Midi, pattern, song, dirct etc tabs across the middle.

It still isn't working
Can you give me your RealGuitar and RealStrat settings file to download then import?
I'm pretty sure that will solve the problem quickly.

Hiya

I haven't got a settings file that I know of.
When you say export audio are you referring to mix-down in Mixcraft or using export from within Realgutar ?

If you send the midi file you have on the track that's skipping beats either here or PM me I'll try it here.

I have been using mixdown in mixcraft
additionally, this is one of the midi files that failed to work correctly (all of them have failed to work correctly):

Hi,

Try mixing down to a wav file with the same sample rate you're using in Mixcraft's sound device preferences. For example, if you're using a sample rate of 48000 Hz, try mixing down to a wav file with a sample rate of 48000 Hz. Click "Edit Details" when you go to mix down to change the sample rate.
