UJAM software crashing MixCraft-8 Pro!

Postby squeakie » Thu May 02, 2019 4:25 pm

Anyone using UJAM software successfully with MixCraft? I just downloaded their 30 day trial for Virtual Drummer (Solid). The download went well, was able to copy the file into the 3rd party VST folder. It shows up within the VSTi selection menu, but when I open it and then click on EDIT, I get a fatal error crash in MixCraft.

Thx

Hi,

Restart your computer, try it again, and if it happens, quit Mixcraft and send us your mixcraft-log.txt file.

To find the mixcraft-log file, highlight the following line and press Ctrl+C to copy it:

Code: Select all

%appdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\

Press the Windows Key+R to pop up the Run box in Windows. Click in the Run box and press Ctrl+V to paste in the line from above. Finally, click OK to go to the location of the mixcraft-log.txt file. Submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the log file along with a brief description of the problem.

I've got the VD Phat. You have to keep in mind that these VSTs utilize a blob file. These are very large files that contain the data (library) that the plugin uses. These should go in the hidden ProgramData folder or C:\ProgramData\ujam\VD-Solid. Hidden files need to be turned on in Windows explorer settings.

My files aren’t hidden. Checked under Explorer. I sent Acoustica the log file. Maybe they can sort it out.

Hi,

Did you use a different email address than you do on the forums? I don't know if I got your log file.

I think I did use a different address than here. I followed the MixCraft prompt to report and send a log file. Took me directly to your server. It was a frontier account that I used. Name was Provost.

Thank you! I’ve gotten so used to just copying the dll files directly to the 3rd party folder.

Use your Acoustica forum email address to send your mixcraft-log file to Acoustica so Greg can help you.
