Is this the right place to ask a question?

Postby CYBMEDINA1 » Sun Aug 18, 2019 5:11 pm

Have a question, but can't find an area to post the question. It has to do with transferring projects from MX 8 home on one system to MX8Pro on a different system and not getting my vocals transferred along with the music or not finding the project at all only when the storage device is connected,. I have tried to upload it to it's own file so that I can open it in MX8Pro but no go I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here. Help please and Thank you in advance, if this is the wrong place to ask, let me know where to turn. Thanks again.

Hello and welcome to the Mixcraft forum.

Is this the right place to ask a question?

Almost... Normally one would start a new thread for questions or ask it in a related topic thread.

Anyway, I click on the little blue floppy disk icon on the top of MX8Pro to save projects or click on File and use "Copy Project Files To"... That way all associated files for projects are all saved together.

If you know where the vocal file is, open the project and add the vocal file to the project and then resave the project with a different name using "Copy Project Files To". Or if the vocal file is already there and just not transferring with the project... Resave the project with a different name using "Copy Project Files To".
