Mixcraft 8 Pro with EZ Drummer 2

Postby Kileren » Tue Aug 20, 2019 4:16 pm

Hi all! I’ve been using Mixcraft since version 4 and really love it. I had always been using loops for the drums, but they always sound monotonous after a while. I finally saved up and bought EZ Drummer 2, which is really awesome. So I created a very basic drum line for a new song as I always start with drums first. I am using EZD2 as a plug-in to Mixcraft. Once completed, I added another audio track for my bass guitar. When I hit the play button in Mixcraft to jam with the drums, I don’t hear the drums. If I hit the play button in EZD2, I hear the drums but it doesn’t let me record the bass. I know I’m missing something simple, but do you have any ideas what I’m doing wrong? Thanks! - lee

Hi,

Drag the groove from the plugin onto the track in Mixcraft, and then you'll be able to play it with Mixcraft.

I also use EZD2 with MX8P too.

TIP: If you hear a delayed or two drum tracks during Mixcraft playback, turn off "Follow Host".
