This reinforces my skepticism about the effort to produce music for an audience of "smart" phone users......

Years of hard core rock and roll! No wonder we can't hear the higher pitched "yanny" ! :D

You might be on to something there Tom!

First let me say I cant believe how much attention this silly issue is getting. Its a strange world!
But also, I have yet to meet ANYONE who doesn't hear "Laurel" (No matter how its EQ'd or how shty their phone's audio sounds.)
And then theres this- EVERY young person I know has either more hearing loss than I do, or the attention span of a gnat. Or both.

So, I suppose its possible- that the rare person with youthful hearing, ability to listen to one recorded word without distraction and a "smart" phone might hear something odd.

Or not. 8)
