Automation recording

Postby MusicMeister » Wed Sep 12, 2018 12:48 am

I'm trying to record automation on a couple effects, like creating a filter sweep on my EQ. I can see a bunch of automation points shaping as I record, but upon stopping recording, almost all the little automation points disappear and what's left is generalized lines. For example, if I recorded in the shape of a U, what results is 3 points in the shape of a V. I've tried turning snap off and to 1/64, did not work :( How do I retain all those points that I see while recording?

You cannot get it to keep all the points, Mixcraft automatically optimizes by removing points that are unnecessary.
