False news!

If they'd said Audacity instead of Pro Tools, I would've bought it. But it takes an engineering degree just to install that DAW from hell, let alone use it.

Oh come on Pro tools isn't THAT hard. The problem with it for me isn't the difficulty, its the fact the work flow just feels awkward to me. The only DAW that was ever truly natural to me was Logic Pro..... and surprise surprise Mixcraft feels *very* similar to Logic pro (in fact I'd take a sneaky guess that isn't entirely co-incidental. Which isn't a critique, its a compliment, if I was building a DAW, Logic would be my primary object of study too.)
