BUG: Tempo and key markers not enforced

Postby sixstorm1 » Sun Jan 13, 2019 5:16 pm

During playback in Mixcraft Build 418, there are cases that when a clip is encountered it is played with the wrong key and tempo, even though a key and tempo marker is present just before it.

Placing the cursor directly ONTO the clip and starting playback, the correct key and tempo are used.
Placing the cursor just BEFORE the clip (but past the marker) and starting playback, when the cursor arrives on the clip it is being played with the wrong key and tempo.

In my project. I have a few cases where I can consistently reproduce that bug.

Maybe some effects are trailing pass markers?
Mixcraft 8.1 Pro (64-Bit Build 418), Lenovo (1.80GHz, 8GB, 64-bit), Windows 10, Focusrite Scarlett 2i4, Event and PreSonus monitors, Korg TR61, Akai MPK249, MPK2 Mini, Fender American P & J basses, Strat, D35, and a lot of microphones, etc.

Morning,

I have noticed that deleting a key marker doesn’t always return the key to where it was when using the performance panel, even if the time reverts back when deleting the very same marker.

I had the same issue once, check your pass markers.

What is a pass marker? This is very simple project consisting of only song clips following each other. There are no effects whatsoever and there is nothing except standard key/tempo markers on the main timeline. The fact that the clip key/tempo differs depending whether playback is started inside or outside the clip clearly denotes a bug here.

Hi,

Please make a simple project that illustrates this problem, then submit an Acoustica Support Request and attach the project so we can check it out.
