Well you did say dont ask!
Yes, I suppose I could always start a Mixcraft user's nearly dead club. I was in a ward with four beds. One guy was being operated on elsewhere, the man on my left was 76 years old I believe, the one on my right was 90 and clearly had alzheimer's and kept demanding to know what was going on behind the curtain during the night and each time the nurse told him that he was in hospital, she had to tell him again a while later. He slept about 10 minutes, then had loads of relatives and friends from his church visit him all day, one of whom enquired if he was sleeping okay, to which he replied that he'd slept all night. It was difficult keeping a straight face. Then I spent a large part of the day either sitting clothed on top of my hospital bed or after screaming in pain behind curtains, sitting with bed sheets over my legs massaging ice in rubber gloves onto my groin as per instructions, which were told to me just before they pulled back the curtains whilst the 90 year old had visitors with him. This happened several times as doctors need to be behind curtains but patients do not apparently. At one point the nurses discussed moving the 90 year old man to somewhere a bit more lively because maybe he'd fit in a bit better. I don't think they were joking either. Seriously, you couldn't make it up.
