I had the spam problem on one of my boards even though guest were not allowed to post. But, it was way worse when anyone was allowed to post. Then I made it so the guest had to receive a registration email to become a member. This pretty much stopped the spam on my boards. It takes about two minutes...

Sometimes, I'll have a comp, Limiter, reverb, and or delay all stacked up on one track

After I add the Comp, I have to adjust the volume of the track way down, say from 100%, to 40%.

You do that in each effects properties window, as you said.

I sometimes have 4 or 5 effects on a track and I wouldn't want to adjust them all with one slider.

You can't create your own templates, but you don't need to anyway. You take an existing template, change it and save it as a project. Nero 7 will let you take one long wav file and add markers to split up the wav.

You can then burn it to a CD.
Never tried it myself but I just noticed it today that Nero 7 can do this.
