I'd like to know what you're using. Nothing, I've been clean for years!!! :D Oh, you mean gear? Beatcraft for drums Mixcraft for recording. A custom hand made 40 watt 2x10 Fenderish type combo amp with tube/spring reverb. I have recorded the amp above three different ways. On way older tunes I used...

Thanks RB, I've been playing off and on for a very long time. (More off than on) :? That tune is just one of several different styles of stuff I play, not the norm for sure. I post them here mainly to show people what Beatcraft and Mixcraft can do. (They can actually do a lot more than I do with the...

Thanks Eric,

I may drop the level on the cowbell/wood blocks sections level just a bit.

Got to live with it a while and see.

You know how you you get tired ears when recording a tune?

Need a break and then I'll get back on it with fresh ears.

Kinda sounds like a Spagheti western?

Lay Lady Lay, the Dylan Tune

This tune has been running around my brain for 30 years, or however long it has been out. The Nashville Skyline album is still one of my top favorite albums to this day. I did an instrumental version of Lay Lady Lay so I could get it out of my brain for now. Let me know if the levels are ok or if so...

I think I remember some other post about this.

Do a search and see what has been posted.

If I remember right, you should have the entire song visible on the screen and not let Mixcraft scroll to the right as you record.
Or something like that.

Ok, I think I am done with this, Mix 3 is up at the top. Mix 3 changes: Deleted electric guitar clean acoustic sounding rythym tracks. Added a real acoustic guitar, sounds way better. It's my Tacoma road king with fresh strings. Added a big scream at 1:25 as per several request. Adjusted levels up a...

Hehehe.

How about death surf music?
I can do that.

Ok, you can't be dead and surf, I know.
Wait, maybe if they threw your coffin in at the break point and you had a fin bolted to the coffin.

Wow, there's a song!

It would be tough cause not everybody is interested in death metal or slightly almost dead but not quite dead metal, shouting at the devil and silly things that have the word blood in them. Just kidding  Ok, I'm not kidding but you get the point. I suppose you can have a "death ...

Yes, I don't mean that you drum out the tempo with your fingers and it would be spot on. What I want is something that shows on a computer screen what I am tapping out over the top of a background 4/4 x 32 beats per measure time signature display. Just an example: I can then see that this beat is cl...

Not that I know of. I would like an easier sequencer section for those of us that are happy to repeat patterns. I know Eric likes to spend days on a drum sequence, but I don't. I would like to have an instruction list, something like this pattern0 x 1 pattern1 x 8 pattern2 x 4 pattern1 x 8 pattern2 ...

You need an unbalanced line out on the mixer and a line in on your computer.

Mic in will not work. Mic levels are way lower than a line in level.

You can buy external sound cards.
M-audio comes to mind.
