Re: Sunday's Cover Tune

I have listened to your soundcloud and for what it's worth, I think the material is well done. I hope you will take a listen to my bucket music if I ever post it. Carry ON.

Re: Internal Noise Floor Question

Hi Outteh,

Thanks for your reply. I found your link to be very helpful and in a strange way, helped me figure out another way to make the measurement better than audacity.

Thanks! DutyHead

Internal Noise Floor Question

Hello everyone, I recorded the internal noise level of the 2i4 and played it back in audacity. This is the only program that i could find with a meter that reads that low. According to the Audacity level meters, the 2i4's internal noise floor is ( -84db ) with the gain set to 0 and 48 volts phantom....

Re: New to Mixcraft and USB Keyboards

JDB, Perhaps this sequence might help. 1) Turn off everything. 2) Start Mixcraft. 3) Turn on your keyboard, (mixcraft should inform you of a change in the number of midi devices). If this happens then mixcraft sees your keyboard. 4) Mixcraft offers two types of tracks Audio tracks Instrument tracks ...

Billw

The master fader maybe?

As for mixing volume levels, I also agree with many that say "mix drums first" and all else will fall in line.

Re: Can more ram help me?

Chibear,

Thanks for your reply.

I'am glad to hear that those 32 bit vst's will become 64 before long.
And yes, stem mixing is a beautiful thing and I only use a few third party vsti's my projects so i guess that's a good thing.
I found your comments very useful. Thanks alot.

Re: Can more ram help me?

Fredfish,

Thanks for your reply.
While my machine is not dedicated to MC7 i've waited a long time for this 64 bit program and would rather it be the only daw that i use.
I think i'll go with you when you say, "If it ain't broke".
Thanks for your comments.

Can more ram help me?

Hello everyone, I use mc7 64bit with windows 8.1 and 8Gb of ram. I notice that my projects have a very high amount of mc 32bit hosts as well as a high track count (30 or more). Not that i have a ram problem. I just wanted to look ahead. My question is : can my daw benefit from the use of more ram. D...

Re: Bad random noise when recording

w1av Unplug your usb i/o. try using your wave rt driver with your internal sound card and mic. with the volume turned down. record a track for five minutes or longer and then playback while listening for this noise. If it happens, then it's not the i/o. Something like this happened to me only to fin...

Thanks Greg,

I was hoping but then just had to go there. I don't have that many brain cells left to play with that regedit.

Re: Mixcraft and Voxengo Span use

Greg,
I would like to compare multiple audio tracks in real time, within the one window that Voxengo Span plus plugin spectrum analyzer offers.
