Re: Connecting two VST -> how does this work?

If you click on the piano roll on the track to open the instrument selection panel, you can add multiple instruments in the Synth column: http://s27.postimg.org/a72wk872r/blue_arp_setup.jpg Make sure that the Blue Arp is the first one in the chain (at least, that's how i got it to arpeggiate). All t...

Re: What Frequency Does Mixcraft Pro 7 Record at?

You can save all the Fancy Instruments, and Samples, I don't care at all about that I like to be able to Plug my MIDI USB Keyboard into a Program and have lots of different sounds to use Hm. There seems to be a conflict of interests going on inside of you. :P The fact that I even have to ASK what t...

Re: Question on CD burning

Is there an advantage, sound wise, to first mking a WAV file, then loading it back in to burn a CD? Well, i suppose you could burn directly to cd. I don't think the sound quality is affected by that (have never tried it, but it seems silly to include such an option if the quality is less). But, apa...

Re: Virtual Instrument not sticking to my track

Just a thought - I wonder if there is some midi (CC) event or data present at the start of the midi track (e.g. a bank/preset selection or volume, etc) that is triggering the VSTi to make some unwanted change when you press play. I think these events are normally filtered out in the midi piano roll...

Re: Question on CD burning

In theory, yes- frozen tracks are already .wav files so there should be no difference there. Mark is right. A frozen track is a temporary wav file. It's managed by MC: it's simply deleted when the track is unfrozen. A track that's converted to a wav (by right clicking the track and choosing "m...

Re: problem with the Notes Chooser in the Step Sequencer

I'm on windows classic customised!   Thanks for helping, Mick! That confirms it; Classic has no Aero. So back to the "note chooser" defaulting to C Chromatic. And my thoughts (IMHO) otherwise is that to default to C major is about right I suspect both your project ...

Re: Cannot select ASIO interface any more

So, it's very likely not the audio interface.

Things you could try if you haven't already:

-"reset audio to factory defaults" link: try it in admin mode
-uninstall MC, reboot, reinstall using admin mode

You can. Make a template.
It also saves the track sizes that you set up. :D

Found it. It happens when Aero is enabled. When it's disabled, it runs correctly.

I'm sorry it's still not working. However:

Does that mean that MC sees and uses your interface when you run MC as an admin?

Re: problem with the Notes Chooser in the Step Sequencer

I followed all your instructions and cannot duplicate the problem. Thanks Mick. Yeah, i wasn't sure if by the "piano thingie" you perhaps meant the piano roll on the track (from where it's possible to select ranges, too  ) To be sure: i have no problem with the step editor itself, o...
