Switching Tracks via CC
I am using an Launchpad Pro MK3 and would like to jump tracks at the push of a button. I'd notice that you can bank select but cannot finger out how to select each track via cc.

Re: Izotope Stutter Edit Query
Hi, What if you Show Details and just uncheck the virtual instrument? Greg Yeah, that doesn't work, it turns the midi channel off. That guy was doing a bunch of unnecessary steps. You simply add the effect to your audio track. It works fine to jam along. Just cannot record said effected track. May ...

Re: Izotope Stutter Edit Query
Same trouble here. I am a long time user and can confirm everything the man above is clearly stating. Is there any option to have a midi track for a control track (to control an audio track) without adding a instrument? The izotope product works fine inserted as a vst on the track you want to effect...

Re: What would be a good drum program to use with Mixcraft?
I've used ez drummer, superior 2.0, and Kontakt's studio drummer. I am most pleased with the Kontakt vst.
And yes, there's a learning curve. If you're just starting out it could be a bit overwhelming.

Cold is good... heat could be bad.
Re: Pono
I haven't... My understanding is that film makers may want this high of resolution, but normal music listener's could care less, or not really notice the difference.

Re: How is this Vocal trick done?
I would suggest trying to get ahold of the mixer/producer if you really want to know. As stated it could be a multitude of different avenue's to get to that place. That's the beauty, there's no one specific right way to do this stuff.
Re: Bug
To add... what is the purpose? Help me understand. There's no way to cut just a kick drum from a full stereo mix without pulling eq (destroying the bass guitar), or just chopping the clip leaving a blank spot in the stereo mix. I'm confused as to why you would do this operation to begin with.. shed ...

...I suspect the function you refer to as to fades is a "dummy" function. In other words an introduction to how fades work... No, it's a specialised function for a specialised situation. I'm talking about extremely fine fades for very close editing. To help you understand, I'll give you a...
Re: Bug
Cross fades for tracks that butt up against each other and master mix fades for all tracks at once. How is any program going to read your mind as to where you'd like your fade positioned? They're not. I suspect the function you refer to as to fades is a "dummy" function. In other words an ...
Re: Optimize?
Hi, So it would be a feature that would automatically erase muted takes from multilane tracks? Greg I think this was a good take on what your Roland does. My old Roland had this feature as well. Optimize simply got rid of all data not currently being used. I'm not 100% on this part, correct me if I...

Re: I'm getting my Audio Interface tomorrow, question tho...
You both may want to make sure your up to date with the driver's from your interfaces company. They get updated periodically. If you installed from CD or DVD the drivers may be out dated. As for your soundcard.. if you plan to use your system on a dedicated set of studio monitor's there's really no ...
