Re: sudden latency issue
Thanks Greg - yes, I still have 9 installed. I ran it and checked the settings - exactly the same in both 9 and 10. ASIO default/preferred settings. I recorded the same brief piano line to check both versions. 9 came back perfectly - 10 came back all 'broken' and crackly. [I noticed cpu/system were ...

Jaco Pastorius cover
https://youtu.be/hM2prlIbQZM Hi everyone - me and my mate, Ben, laid down a Jaco Pastorius track last week. You'll hear little bits of the original coming through - they're just markers for other players and the listener. BD mic in the bass drum, plus condenser up above. Bass: DI out of his amp. Mi...

sudden latency issue
I say 'sudden' because this never happened with v.9
With v.10 I'm getting a real problem with latency, both with virtual instruments and with audio input.
I've tried changing Asio/audio/buffer settings, including in the UMC control panel, but nothing seems to work.
Help! Thanks everyone.

Re: Recording system audio
Thanks for that - I kind of knew about the selct device/enable thing, but it doesn't show 'system, sound' or 'windows audio' or similar. So I'll probably stick with Audacity to capture a sound from an external source and take it into Mixcraft. Thanks everyone - I'll post the Jaco Pastorius thing whe...

Recording system audio
Hi - I just wondered if the new version allows for recording audio coming thru the system, like a YouTube clip, for example?
So many times, I just want the audio off something (at the moment it's a Jaco Pastorius track) so I can play along/cover it, within Mixcraft.
Any help?
Thanks

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Hi Dan, Greg, Eric - not sure if this has already been done, but this is about cutting or splitting a track. Timing is crucial, so when I stop playback with spacebar, that is EXACTLY where I want to split the track. However, it seems I have to go in with the mouse and click as near as dammit to wher...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Hi everyone! I have a couple of suggestions: When I merge two or more midi parts, after having recorded a few drop-ins, I then go to: Lanes>delete unused lanes. Just a minor thing, but that could possibly be automatic, after merging? The other thing would Left and Right Locators. I admit I'm not too...

What I do every few minutes, is CTRL+S

Re: Simple guitar idea
Thank you, Guys! I was thinking about tacking on a whole new section at the end, but decided to just do something new instead - thanks for your great comments. :) PS: more drum stuff, for anyone interested, again using Mixcraft. I used to be a Cubase man, but I switched years ago and have upgraded e...
