Well, I can highlight the start point and select SPLIT but for some reason it won't let me highlight the end point. So I can delete from there but it deletes all the way to the end of the track. But it's not that far. I'm gonna re-record the part and try again. My program doesn't seem to work proper...

replacing a short section
I'm trying to replace a short section in a vocal track. I've got the section recorded into a lane but when I place it in the original ...the original is still playing along with the new recording. How do I get rid of the original section? Just sliding the replacement up over the original part is not...

Fade out all tracks at the same time
I'm trying to fade out the end of my song. 8 different tracks....I tried a send track but couldn't find a fade out. Any suggestions?

A free program is AUDACITY. I use it sometimes when I have a mixdown song that needs to be normalized. You can tell because the lines of the song don't come close to touching the top and bottom. Load in the song or track select Effects and select Normalized. After it's done...save it. This is really...
