Stereo Channel Slider vs Automation Lane?
Hi, Let's say I've got a track, and the stereo slider is panned 50% left. Then in the track Panning automation lane I set a portion of the track to 100% right... What amount of stereo panning is it actually set at where I change the panning in the automation lane (and where the panning is not change...

Re: Bass guitar emulation
I'm with Senor Bliss and Senor Gypsy, git yurself a cheap bass, why d**k around? I'll be doing the same myself in the next month or so... For you bass players out there, any suggestions on pickups/configs to look for? I'm thinking of a Fender P-Bass or Jazz Bass, and expect to play rock/jazz/singer-...

How to attenuate a usb line level input?
Hi, I bought an $8 USB cable I run from my guitar into my computer, and it works pretty well into Mixcraft. I connected it to the line out of a Behringer Keyboard amp, however, and it is wayyyyy too hot. Even with WaveRT and input level set to 0, it is still distorting at normal levels at the amp. A...

Yep, got both...Starship Krupa wrote:As mentioned, the Voxengo plug-ins are available in 64 bit (including the ones that Acoustica ships in only 32 bit form).
Same story for the GVST effects.

Re: Stereo vocal track?
I'm not sure what this really means, or how you might use it, but it seems like perhaps it might help when using something like a ping pong or panning VST. If I take a mic track (mono track recorded to both sides as noted above) and mix it down to a new track, it shows the track as a stereo track wi...

Re: Making the jump to 64 bit
I can't say that they are. Can I install 32 bit and 64 bit at the same time? (not run at the same time, clearly) Are projects cross-compatible? Yes, you can have both 32- and 64-bit Mixcraft installed at the same time and the projects are compatible with both, although if you have 64-bit-only plugi...

Re: Good simple USB interface for instrument
IK makes all kinds of stuff. The Amplitube guitar sims are some of the best out there. http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/ The Stealth plug is usb in. M Cool, thanks for the link. If this one doesn't work out, I'll check it out. Pricey, though... Would be nice to find an interface that works with...

Good simple USB interface for instrument
I've got both a Line6 POD HD and a Focusrite 6i6 But sometimes, rather than go through all the setup necessary with all that stuff (My wife hates all the mess I make with all the wires and stuff on the table and plugs I have to find so I can plug both the PC and the hardware in), I'd like to just pl...

Re: Making the jump to 64 bit
Yes, both drives are in the laptop. I did have a problem with my secondary drive (it kept blue screening the computer, and the computer was at the point where it was saying the drive was imminently about to fail), so I had IT swap in a new one. I haven't had a chance to test the upgrade with Mixcraf...

Re: Making the jump to 64 bit
Hi, If you use 32-bit Mixcraft, do the performance issues go away? In other words, maybe the 32-bit plugins in 64-bit Mixcraft aren't the issue. Greg I can't say that they are. Can I install 32 bit and 64 bit at the same time? (not run at the same time, clearly) Are projects cross-compatible? :( th...

P.S. I found this link to the 40 top VST's of 2014, many of which have 64 bit versions, and, interestingly enough, I was already using many of the tools listed
