I tweaked the mix but didn't upload it yet. First line is I can't sleep. I can't sing- but I can't let that stop me

More latency when I monitor incoming audio than i hear from my interface
Hello. I have a line6 UX8 interface. when i monitor my audio from the device, there is no noticeable latency. when i arm track and hit "monitor incoming audio", there is a latency of about 11ms, which is noticeable. So say, i dont monitor incoming audio and track to the click track in mixc...

the song is really good. the mix sounds great too, however, my ears want to hear an organ in this song. you should do one!

Re: Mixcraft Studio Drums? or standalone drum software?
thanks for the tips everyone. i'm going to hold off on the paid for drum software, and get a small midi controller for programming the drum tracks.
i'm going to try the sennheiser kit. does anyone know where i can get other kits that play nice with kontakt 5 player?

Re: Mixcraft Studio Drums? or standalone drum software?
i'm a guitarist by trade, but have pretty good drumming skills. i hear the part that i want to go with my song, and doubt using readymade loops without editing would not be what i'm after. i'm thinking for now i'm going to get a small midi controller and do the tracks that way. all that clicking wit...

Mixcraft Studio Drums? or standalone drum software?
I just upgraded to Mixcraft 7. I haven't played with Mixcraft Studio Drums. I see that today Addictive Drums 2 is 99 dollars on sale, and i'm wondering if i should get my wife to get it for me for Christmas, or if i should spend some time with the drum editors in Mixcraft before i commit. Currently,...

Re: New mix on an older song- input appreciated
Sure, I wouldn't mind. So long as feeling aren't hurt when I track the vocals myself. Got lyrics and a melody, but I also have a 2 year old with another on the way, so not much free time to track

New mix on an older song- input appreciated
I recently purchased a new guitar (g&l comanche, my first usa made electrics) and wanted to track a song i knew well, so i decided to record a song i did about 2 years ago. Still have no vocals on it, still have not great programmed drums. but notes on mixing and eq would be much appreciated. Th...

Re: Wolf is waiting with scatch vox
overall, the song is very good. guitar and piano work just fine for me. vocals sound great. however, we need to talk about the drums. i'd dial that hi hat back. maybe go for something more swampy sounding to fit the rest of the arrangement. i'd recommend a more minimal approach in the programming. h...

Re: New Song, input appreciated
Excellent. thanks! i'll fix that up and take your suggestions on eq. pretty cool that i almost fooled you into thinking they were live drums. I really thought so too. Did you use a keyboard controller or patterns? i used hydrogen. Hydrogen is a sampler/arranger. i build my own loops and layout the ...
